Delivery and Returns

What are the delivery charges?

  • For orders over £25:
    • Standard delivery is Free*
    • Next day delivery is available for £5.95*
  • For orders up to and including £25, the delivery fee is based on weight:
    • Standard Delivery:
      1. Postal Items up to 250g - £1.50
      2. < 1Kg - £2.95
      3. < 2Kg - £3.95
      4. < 5Kg - £5.95
      5. < 30Kg - £7.95
      6. > 30Kg - £10.95
    • Next day delivery is £8.95*
* Items over 30Kg in weight will incur an additional charge. Delivery to addresses on islands or in remote areas of the UK mainland (see postcodes in "Which areas are excluded for standard delivery?" below) will incur an additional charge.
 
All delivery charges will be shown at checkout, before and after confirmation of your order. Weight includes packaging.
Note: All prices include VAT at current ruling rate.

When would I expect to receive my items?

Standard delivery is by courier, within five working days of your order, with delivery between 9am and 5.30pm. If any products you've requested aren't in stock, we'll email you to let you know and give you an estimated dispatch date. (Costs shown are per delivery address, per delivery day.)

Which areas are excluded for standard delivery?

We deliver to all postal areas in the UK, including England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Delivery to addresses on islands or in remote areas of the UK mainland may take a little longer than our usual delivery times, with delays possible if you live in the following postcode areas: AB37-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, HS1-9, IV, KA27-28, KW1-17, PH49-50, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH19-26, PH30-40, PH42-44.

Can items be sent to a different address?

We're happy to deliver an order to addresses other than your own, and during the checkout process you'll be given the option to tell us where you want to send the items in your basket.

What if I'm not in when the courier arrives?

Deliveries are usually made on Mondays to Fridays (and in some cases on a weekend), between 9am and 5.30pm. If the recipient isn't in, our courier will sometimes leave the parcel in a safe place, or usually leave a card confirming that they've tried to deliver your parcel. Please call the contact number on the card to either agree a convenient delivery time or arrange collection directly from their depot. After three failed delivery attempts your items will be returned to our warehouse.

If you would like the courier to leave the parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place, then please indicate this at checkout.

What if only part of my order has arrived?

If there are any items missing from the order (as detailed in your order confirmation email), please contact customer services at info@naturestation.co.uk or phone us on 0330 223 0103, so that we can sort this out for you.

Cancellation and returns

This policy does not apply to goods ordered by businesses which are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations. It also does not apply to live foods ordered from us.

You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail or write to us. We are unable to accept cancellations by phone.

You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
If you cancel, you must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging to us and/or our supplier (or any other UK address specified by us), at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.

You may properly examine the goods for 7 working days, however you may not return any goods that have been installed unless they are faulty.
If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

We will refund all monies paid to us by you including any postage / carriage within 30 days, less any costs due under this contract.

Business customers, or customers exempt from the distance selling regulations may not cancel an order without our mutual agreement.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Faulty goods / Guarantee

If there is a problem with the goods, please notify us by email at info@naturestation.co.uk or in writing providing details of the problem. It’s helpful if you can provide us with a digital photograph of the problem as this normally saves you having to return the goods for inspection. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

All goods are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against faulty workmanship and materials, subject to the terms and conditions of that warranty.

The manufacturer’s warranty is provided in addition to the rights that the law says you have as a consumer and accordingly, your statutory rights are not affected.
If an exchange is necessary, this will be arranged without unreasonable delay and without charge. Replacement goods will not be dispatched until the original goods have been received at our warehouse and checked.

The cost of returning goods to us is your responsibility, however on inspection we will refund your reasonable postage costs, providing that the goods are found to be faulty.
If the goods are not faulty, we will return them to you, however you will be required to cover our reasonable postage costs.

Within this time scale we will replace defective goods free of charge, at our discretion, providing that you have returned to us any faulty goods upon request.
If an item is no longer available we will offer an alternative. However our liability will be to replace the faulty goods only and we are unable to guarantee an exact match. In this instance you will have the option of a refund.

Where we replace faulty goods you are responsible for their disposal if they have not previously been returned to us.
